Nightshift Ops is a desk for the founder who does the company work at eleven at night, when nobody is awake to answer a question.
Why we built it
Every tool a small company is offered wants to be a dashboard. Dashboards are very good at showing you what you have not done. What a founder needs at the end of a long day is one page that says what to do first, and then a result to read before bed.
So the desk is deliberately quiet: a plan you can read in a minute, a short queue, and one task that comes back as text you can accept or put aside.
How we work
The desk proposes; you press start. Nothing runs unattended and nothing runs on a schedule. Every result waits where you can see it until you approve or discard it.
The desk writes in plain text. It reads what you give it, writes one answer, and keeps nothing between answers — no memory of the last task, no browsing on your behalf.
