After-hours desk

Say what the business is. Read the plan before you sleep.

Nightshift Ops reads a few sentences about the business and writes two things back on this page: a launch plan for the first customer, and a landing page draft you could publish tonight.

A few sentences is plenty. The desk answers on this page.

Three examples to start from — examples, not your business

Free to make

The launch plan and the landing page draft arrive on this page and are yours to keep. The desk carries on from here.

How the queue works

The desk proposes. You press start.

  1. The queue is proposed from the plan

Once there is a plan, the desk turns it into up to five concrete tasks, each with one sentence about what it will do.

  2. You start one task

Nothing runs on its own and nothing runs on a schedule. A task begins the moment you press start, and the result comes back to the desk while you wait.

  3. You approve it or discard it

Every result waits for your word. Approve it and it stays on the desk as accepted work; discard it and it is put aside, and you can start the task again.
